At Seed of Hope Health, we draw on evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention:

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) / Assistive Technology (communication dictionaries, community access cards, low/high tech devices)

  • Communication Partner Training (teaching communication partners how to best support their loved ones with aphasia and other communication difficulties)

  • Early Intervention (speech and language disorders and delay in young children under the age of 3 years old)

  • Literacy (alphabet and sound knowledge, comprehension, vocabulary, grammar)

  • Speech and Language (speech sounds, receptive and expressive language)

  • Social Communication (verbal and nonverbal social skills, conversational skills)

  • Stuttering (fluency in speech)

  • Swallowing and Mealtime Management (managing safety around eating and drinking)

  • NDIS Plan Review Reports

  • Speech Pathology Assessment and Summary Reports

  • Assistive Technology Assessment Reports (Low, Mid & High Cost AT)

  • Mealtime Management Plans

  • Allied Health Assistant Intervention Plans

Funding Options

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

    We accept self-managed and plan-managed individuals. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept NDIA managed individuals at this time.

  • Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Program

    We are a registered Medicare provider. Individuals can claim up to 5 rebated sessions per calendar year. This service is not bulked billed, an out of pocket fee will apply.

  • Private Health Insurance

    Depending on your level of cover, you may have Speech Pathology extras. A gap fee may still apply.

  • Private Paying

    We accept private paying individuals for assessment and therapy for their communication and mealtime needs.
